Reigning Miss World Ksenia Sukhinova, from Russia, and the more than 100 hopefuls who are competing for the honour of becoming the next global beauty queen arrived at Legend Golf & Safari Resort to the sound of traditional Pedi drums. The contestants are spending two days at the golf and safari resort at the Entabeni Safari Conservancy in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, staying in the luxurious new resort suites. Deep in the heart of the Waterberg area, they will enjoy a specially designed programme of exhilarating activities during their stay including golf on the exclusive 18-hole Signature Course - the only one in the world designed by 18 different famous golfers; close encounters with some very special carnivorous guests, and meetings with eight-week-old white lion cubs.

The theme of the programme is “Save the planet's endangered species”. The beauty queens will swap their stilettos for sneakers as they take a walk on the wild side through the scenic South African bush and learn about some of the most threatened animals in the world.
