From the outset I wanted my par 4 hole to reflect the real passion I feel for the game. So I designed the hole to create an early challenge in your round of golf and I think I've achieved that by putting water in the back of your mind on your approach shot.

I created a rolling fairway that sweeps left by directional bunkers down the right side. I also ensured the challenging second shot will be played to a deep and well defended green.

Golfers who take on this unique golfing challenge will certainly need courage and spirit to find the putting surface on my hole as I have created an island effect from the lake that almost wraps around the green.

More than anything I wanted to encourage players to test themselves on my hole and I believe to be home in two on the second will be a fantastic achievement."
