"I am proud to be associated with this unique development and I put a lot of thought into designing my hole.
I created a downhill hole which actually plays slightly shorter than on the card; I also chose a long fade. I've ensured that the green gives golfers a clear, visible aim for their approach shot and I specifically wanted a receptive putting surface so that the shot stops quickly – so that's what I've got on my hole.
If I had to list the skills that have stood me most in good stead over the years I would say being clear about my approach to each round and selecting the right club for the right shot.
What I've created at Legend Golf & Safari Resort is a hole that actually encourages golfers to fine-tune these skills and I'm delighted with the end result and to be a part of something so special."
