"This is what it's all about: a course which captures the true spirit of golf and sets you a challenge.  

One of the key factors I took into account when designing my hole was that all standard of golfers must enjoy playing it. I'm confident I've achieved that.

As you walk down the fairway you will notice that I have created an interesting short game challenge. That was deliberate, because there's nothing I personally like more about the game.

I wanted the chipping areas made left and long to add a further dimension to my par 3 hole. I also created what I think is a really intriguing challenge from a variety of tees, and that's without throwing the impact of the wind direction into the equation.

The bunkers fronting the green have been left deliberately visible to encourage long rather than short play and the angle of the tee positions should guarantee that everyone will enjoy playing my hole as much as I will.
